Tia Setiadi is an Indonesian poet, essayist, editor and translator. His essays and poems has published by leading media such as Kompas, Jawa Pos, Jurnas, Koran Tempo, Horison Magazine, Jurnal Sajak, Jurnal Kritik, Jurnal Poetika, Jurnal Cipta, Jurnal Diskursus. Tia has received national and international awards for his essays and collected poems, among them Horison Magazine Award (2008), Jakarta Arts Council Award (2007 and 2009), Golden Pen Award (2012), and Southeast Asia Literary Council Award (2013) for his collected poems Tangan yang Lain (The Other Hand), Yogyakarta Home of Language Award (2016) for his new collected essays and criticism Petualangan yang Mustahil (The Adventure of the Impossible). Tia also known as the poetry editor of basabasi.co and translator of numerous books, among them collected poems of Pablo Neruda, Collected Essays of Mario Vargas Llosa, Collected Stories of Alice Munro, Collected Poems and Stories of Edgar Allan Poe, Collected Poems of Rilke, Collected Interviews of Noam Chomsky, Collected Poems of Octavio Paz.  He lives in Yogyakarta.
